Since its founding in 1850, Robertet has been dedicated to bringing its expertise in natural raw materials to customers around the world. Headquartered in Grasse, the Group’s global headquarters employs more than 900 people across three sites, with activities focused on the production of natural raw materials, flavours, fragrances, and health & beauty ingredients.
In 2014, Robertet launched its Health & Beauty division to explore the benefits of natural ingredients for health and wellness. Building on the expertise of its subsidiaries HiteX and Bionov, the division develops innovative natural active ingredients while strengthening the Group’s performance and reinforcing its commitment to French industrial excellence.
In September 2016, Robertet was honoured with the Prix de l’Audace Créatrice, presented by the President of the French Republic in recognition of the Group’s innovative achievements.
A Historic Presence in Grasse
All of Robertet’s core expertise is concentrated in Grasse, the world capital of perfumery. The Group’s fragrance, flavour, natural raw materials, and health & beauty teams work within a unique ecosystem that brings together more than 40 perfumers and 25 flavourists. This exceptional location forms the foundation of Robertet’s excellence and identity.

Passing on the Grasse Expertise
Faithful to its heritage, Robertet is committed to preserving and passing on the unique know-how of Grasse. Since 2010, the Group’s in-house perfumery school has trained three students each year, helping safeguard this exceptional heritage while fostering a new generation of creative talent. This commitment ensures the continuity of a rare and highly valued expertise.
Facilities at the Heart of Grasse
Robertet operates several production facilities across Grasse, including its historic natural raw materials plant in Sidi-Brahim, a flavour blending facility in Plan de Grasse operating since the 1980s, and a fragrance blending plant inaugurated in 2011. Together, these facilities contribute to the annual production of more than 4,000 tonnes of fragrance compounds.
Investing in Local Growth
Committed to the long-term development of the Grasse region, Robertet continues to invest in its local operations. Its state-of-the-art quality control laboratory ensures the highest product standards, while a recent €40 million investment has strengthened the logistics capabilities of the Flavours and Fragrances divisions and expanded production capacity to support the Group’s continued growth.
