Our Commitments

QUALITY CONTROL

'Zero defect' quality for all of our services, and customer satisfaction, are at the very heart of our quality policy.

Our quality management system is ISO 9001 certified for Flavours and Perfumery. We are re-tested every year, and have passed with flying colours since 1995.

The Flavours Division has also been BRC certified since 2006. This reference frame, recognised around the world, guarantees that the food products we deliver are safe.

This particular commitment also translates into increasingly specialised knowledge of legislation, and participating in the different bodies that move legislation forward.

As bearer of the Natural flag, Robertet is an active member of the following international regulatory bodies:

RESEARCH & DEVELOPMENT

Robertet's R&D Department works in collaboration with the Group's three divisions: Raw Materials, Perfumery and Flavours. Its vocation is to harness all modern analytical resources with a view to enhancing our knowledge of the extracts and essences that the company sells. It also plays a role in the creative phase leading to Perfumes and Flavours, thanks to innovative projects that reproduce smells and tastes that are as close as possible to nature.

Its development work includes maintaining a low content of controlled substances for certain extracts, finding a use for extraction residues, and, in general, innovating with and/or renovating classic as well as little-known extracts.

Exploring new technological avenues can lead to original aromatic extracts – this is another essential aspect of the department's work. It contributes to enriching Robertet's ranges and provides Perfumers and Flavourers with products offering unsuspected facets.

Participating in national and international professional projects (IOFI-IFRA) and in ground-breaking research in collaboration with renowned scientific teams, all contribute to generating a professional image for the company that is acknowledged in the world of natural products, flavours and fragrances.

SUSTAINABLE DEVELOPMENT

Our planet is fragile. Protecting it guarantees a future for our business.

Protecting the environment, safeguarding natural resources, improving growing conditions and fostering local economic development are therefore among Robertet's priorities.

On our different sites, we endeavour to integrate environmental rules into our business of producing aromatic products. Improving our industrial processes and controlling our consumption levels and emissions, all actively contribute to reducing the impact our business has on the environment.

This commitment has also translated into partnerships set up in Bolivia, Venezuela, Ecuador, Laos and Turkey, to support local producers and preserve biodiversity.

Finally, having taken a stake in the company Plantes Aromatiques du Diois, Robertet is now involved in setting up systems for sustainable development and fair trading with regards biological aromatic plants.

Thanks to all of the above initiatives, Robertet occupies a vanguard position in relation to the great challenge of the 21st century - both in terms of the reasoned exploitation of the world's resources and in terms of its industrial operations.
